絣は糸を先に染めてから織り込み、模様を描くものです。黒地に赤白青の模様がレトロでノスタルジックな可愛らしさを伝えています。
古くなっても変わらぬ価値を持つ着物や帯をハギレとしてお届けします。パッチワークや小物作りなど、リメイク素材としてお楽しみください。
縫いあと、たたみしわ、糸のほつれ、糸ほどき穴、糸くずの取れていない個所などは多少ご理解ください。
保管臭の対策として、風通しの良いところで陰干しをしていますが、若干のにおいが残っている場合があります。
This fabric comes from a used wool Japanese woven Ikat kimono which is unpicked for recycling. In Ikat,yarns are dyed and then woven to create patterns. This fabric's color is black,red,white and blue gives lovely nostalgic image. It is available in 2 different sizes.
They carefully unpicked and offer it to handmade lovers. The kimono fabrics deliver its beauty and value even it is old and into pieces. Please enjoy using it for your craft work.
Please remember this is a used silk kimono fabric,so you may find fold lines,linty or small pin holes. There may be some small stains and fades.
